Students will do original research on a historical topic of their choosing and will publish their findings as a website.
Topics for research are limited to:
o The years 1900-1980 (time) o The San Francisco Bay Area (place)
A minimum number of THREE sources is required. A Source is defined as an internet DOMAIN name, or a book, edition of a magazine or newspaper, or notes taken as an oral history.
o An internet domain counts as one source, but any number of "clippings" can be obtained from pages within that domain.
Students will keep all their research materials ("clippings"), notes, and other required documents in a folder on their MHS Google Drive, shared with Ms. Miner
Students will earn points toward the overall score by meeting "benchmark" due dates.
No Credit for the Term Paper will be given (no "paper" accepted) without all benchmarks met or all documents and notes on file.
The completion of the Term Paper is a requirement for passing US History. No Term Paper = no passing grade.
