These assignments can be worked in groups of no more than 3 people. Remember to TALK about how to respond to the questions BEFORE anyone writes stuff down. It is not OK to be selfish with your ideas! Each student writes her response after discussing the questions. You will turn these in at the end of class even if you did not finish. Then, respond to the items on the Manifest Destiny handout that your substitute will distribute. (you could download it if there is no handout, in which case you would write your responses on binder paper.
