FOR WEDNESDAY, 11/19  - I'm sorry not to be with you in class today. I hope you have fun with today's assignment.  These assignments can be worked in groups of no more than 3 people.
Remember to TALK about how to respond to the questions BEFORE anyone writes stuff down. It is not OK to be selfish with your ideas! Each student writes her response after discussing the questions. You will turn these in at the end of class even if you did not finish.

FIRST, click here to watch the rest of the slide show we started on Monday. I have some notes for you about the slides on that page. Then, respond to the items on the Manifest Destiny handout that your substitute will distribute. (you could download it if there is no handout, in which case you would write your responses on binder paper.

When you finish the Manifest Destiny project, start work on answering the questions at the end of the Zinn Chapter 8 reading. You should have this in your binder, or go to the resources page to find it on line. Please do not print another copy. Hand in your work at the end of class.
